Ing. Jan Kupec
He was born in 1971 in Brno. He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the BUT in Brno, majoring in instrumentation, control and automation technology, where he received the degree of engineer in 1994. He has been working at the T. G. Masaryk Water Research Institute since 1996 in the Brno branch, as a researcher in the water quality protection department, and since 2007 as head of the informatics and operations department. From February 1, 2024, he took up the position of Deputy Director for Economic and Operations.
