Non-invasive and gentle procedures for solving the quality of the environment and maintenance of water features within monument care

The main goal of the project solution was a comprehensive theoretical and practical treatment of the issue of environmental quality of water elements of cultural monuments and historical settlements in the context of historic preservation. Partial attention was devoted to optimizing the composition of the fish population of these water features and their quantity while maintaining the requirements for all functions of the objects from the point of view of historic preservation and cultural heritage. The effort was to find and process information about fish stocks in the past and take them into account in the optimization in the present and in the development of the methodology for this issue. The project was implemented in the years 2016–2019, the support provider was the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic within the Program of Applied Research and Experimental Development and Cultural Identity (NAKI II).
